Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

The TechX (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates thetechx.in. We publish verified tech and AI news, curate a directory of AI tools, and maintain engineering references like the Claude Code Playbook. We also offer paid AI automation, custom tech builds, and strategy consulting on direct request.

2. Information we collect

This site does not host forms, accounts, or trackers that collect personal data directly. We only receive information you choose to share with us:

• Email correspondence. When you write to us (e.g. thetechx.in@gmail.com) about a project, feedback, or a resource request, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
• Public channel activity. If you join our WhatsApp channel, group, or follow us on LinkedIn, YouTube, or Instagram, those platforms handle your data under their own privacy policies — not ours.
• Anonymous browsing data. Our hosting provider may record standard server logs (IP, user-agent, timestamp) for security and uptime. We do not link this back to individuals.

3. How we use information

• To reply to your email and, where applicable, scope and deliver paid work you requested.
• To improve our published content based on feedback you send us.
• To keep the site running and protected from abuse.

We do not run marketing emails, mailing lists, or remarketing pixels from this site.

4. Third-party services we rely on

To deliver this site we use third-party services that may receive technical request data from your browser:

• Static hosting and content delivery for the site itself.
• Google Fonts and a Font Awesome CDN for typography and icons.
• Cloudinary for image and logo hosting.
• Hacker News public API for live headlines.

These providers have their own privacy practices. We do not control them.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only when legally required, or with vendors strictly necessary to operate the site (such as hosting or email).

6. Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any information you share with us. No system on the internet is fully secure, so please use judgment about what you send.

7. Your rights

You may write to us at thetechx.in@gmail.com to request a copy of any information we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children's privacy

Our content is not directed at children under 13. If we become aware that we have received information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be flagged here.
